Gary S. Bowitch brings his many years of environmental legal experience, both within government and in the private sector, and our deep knowledge of Federal and State environmental rules and requirements to bear in its representation of clients before State and Federal courts. We have extensive experience in litigating claims involving federal environmental laws such as CERCLA, RCRA and the Clean Water Act, as well as the New York Environmental Conservation Law and Article 12 of the New York Navigation Law. Our attorneys have defended environmental claims by the US EPA, the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation and private parties and have litigated indemnification, contribution and subrogation claims against other potentially responsible parties. Gary S. Bowitch often uses the services of environmental engineers, hydrogeologists, wetland experts and other environmental professionals to provide critical technical expertise in support of our litigation efforts on behalf of our clients.
